The dying process is a sacred transition. Amidst the sorrow and grief, it provides us the opportunity for reflection, resolution and meaning -- but unfortunately stress and anxiety can get in the way of that. What most people say is that they feel overwhelmed, confused and isolated. When we work together, my focus is to help relieve as much stress and suffering as possible and give you space and support to process and be present.
Hi, I'm Susan. I serve as an End of Life Doula and Advance Care Planning Consultant & Educator. I was called to this work through my personal experiences, having seen where support and planning for end of life was so lacking.
I am certified through the CareDoula School of Accompanying the Dying, as well as Doulagivers Institute, credentialed through the National End of Life Doula Alliance and trained as a Celebrant through Deathwives. In addition, I am a member of the National Home Funeral Association and hold a certification in Reiki. I also serve as a hospice volunteer with a focus on sitting vigil with those who are actively dying, also known as an 11th hour companion.
I am originally from New York, and have lived in the Phoenix, AZ area for 20 years. I am a mom to an adult daughter who is my greatest joy.
Thank you for visiting my website and learning about the services I offer. I look forward to connecting with you to see how I can help.
